Gary Sinise Returns to Help Veterans Non-Profit

WDCB’s Gary Zidek catches up with award-winning actor Gary Sinise. The two Garys talked about a variety of topics including: Sinise’s interest in music, his memories of founding Steppenwolf Theatre and his dedication to veterans causes.

Sinise is retuning to Cantigny with his band, the Lt. Dan Band, to perform a concert on July 12 that will benefit the West Suburban Foundation for Disabled Veterans. The organization provides support to local disabled vets. And Sinise has dedicated much of his life to veterans causes. In addition to starting the Gary Sinise Foundation, the Chicago-native formed the Lt. Dan Band, which has performed almost 600 times for military and veterans-related programs.
