"I think of it as a tradition that goes way-back into the history of the arts. The Renaissance period, where the people of wealth and of means extended their capacity to artists who were creating important works at the time, and that's how we see these documentary filmmakers as really creating the art that is reflective of time in which we live" - Paula Froehle

ICARUS is nominated for an Academy Award in the Best Documentary category this year. The film was made with support from Chicago Media Project.
